I build design systems and accessible frontend applications that ship fast and hold up.
Clients bring me in to architect component libraries from scratch, untangle frontend complexity on mission-critical products, and lead teams through challenging benchmarks. Past work includes elections data infrastructure at NBC, frontend systems for Apple and Paramount, and a medical imaging annotation tool preferred by pathologists over industry-standard software.
How I work
Most engagements start with a conversation about where things are stuck. Maybe your team is moving slowly because every new feature means rebuilding the same components. Maybe you have a compliance deadline and no clear path to victory. Maybe you're a small team that needs a senior hand without a full-time hire. I work as an embedded collaborator, not a vendor. That means I write production code, work in your repo, join your standups (if that's useful), and leave things better documented than I found them.
What I typically take on:
- Design system and component library builds, from initial architecture through documentation and handoff
- Accessibility audits and remediation, including 508 and WCAG compliance as well as HIPPA logging and testing for medical applications
- Frontend lead support for teams that need senior technical guidance without a full-time hire
- Complex data UI and visualization work
If you're not sure what you need yet, that's fine! That's what the first conversation is for.
