AWS Infrastructure Notes

These are more or less my notes while moving a project over from Heroku.

In classic startup fashion, I had very little time and less budget to design and implement a fullstack site. So I started with Netlify and Heroku, because I was already familiar with them. They both have generous free tiers and very quick deployment, which was the main focus. After that I got busy, and stopped working on the project as much. But when Bob Iger came to visit, the project got a shot in the arm and it became clear very quickly that we needed cleaner, more scalable infrastructure. So, I taught myself AWS architecture and moved the whole thing over.
